Idarado’s roots are in outdoor adventure photography. We have been hauling cameras into difficult to reach places for over a decade. Since then, we have expanded our expertise to building brands through compelling images. We are fortunate to have access to talented and passionate photographers located in Sun Valley. We pride ourselves in delivering high end photography in Idaho. Pristine wilderness, high mountains, and wild rivers are located minutes away from the Idarado office. With the immediate access to a variety of locations, we can offer many looks efficiently.
Producing a compelling image takes way more than clicking a shutter button on a camera. At Idarado, we have an entire team dedicated to preproduction. That incudes securing and scouting locations, finding and vetting talent, producing shot lists, scheduling and logistics, and securing appropriate equipment. Once a project enters production, another team handles hair and makeup, grip and gaff, and camera operations. We typically work closely with creative directors on set to ensure production goals are met.
We take pride in telling a brand’s story through images. Safe shots are boring. We embrace the unexpected and difficult. We thrive in hiking the extra 500 vertical feet to make sure the background is what it needs to be. The physical nature of photography productions in Idaho is a part of why we love what we do. Many brands have utilized our large photography studio to complement the images captured in the field. We can efficiently produce PDP images in the studio and produce compelling images from onset to deliver a comprehensive photo package.
We often collaborate with photographers that we love. Tal Roberts is a distinguished and award winning photographer based out of Sun Valley, Idaho. He has an eye for contrast, patterns, and the abstract. We have incorporated his unique look into many projects over the years and our brand partners have benefited greatly from his work.
